About The Tunes:
--------------------
1) Big Walter’s Swing (with the Kingsnakes)
Album: Snakes Alive! (Blue Wave Records ’92)
Available: Yes -- www.bluewaverecords.com
Personnel: Pete McMahon (harp), T.A. James (guitar), Paul LaRonde (bass), Mark Tiffault (drums)
Comments: This now-defunct lineup recorded live at the now-defunct Pump House in Syracuse NY 6/91.

2) Hard Working Woman (with Carey Bell)
Album: Good Luck Man (Alligator Records ’97)
Available: Yes – www.alligator.com
Personnel: Carey Bell (harp/vocals), Steve Jacobs (guitar), Johnny Iguana (piano), T.A. James (bass), Tom Parker (drums)
Comments: Carey blows some great chromatic harp on this tune. This album netted Carey a W.C Handy Award in '98.

3) Pass Me The Blues (as session guest with Mick Mercury & The Meteors)
Album: Pass Me The Blues (Col Records ’98)
Available: Out of print at this time
Personnel: Mick Mercury (bass/vocals), Tom Townsley (harp/vocals), T.A. James (guitar), Garnet Grimm (drums)
Comments: This session was a LOT of fun.

4) English Lesson (as session guest with Marco Zappa)
Album: Gente (MZP ’99)
Available: Out of print at this time
Personnel: Marco Zappa (vocals/guitar), Carey Bell (harp), Steve Jacobs (guitar), Kenny Neal (lap steel guitar), Max Pizio (alto & tenor sax), Danilo Boggini (fisarmonica), Duilio Galfetti (mandolin, violin at end), Irina Simoneta (percussion), T.A. James (bass), Tom Parker (drums)
Comments: This was recorded while the Carey Bell Band was on tour in Switzerland. (No, this was NOT cut with all of these people in the room at once.)

5) Surgery (as session guest with Tom Townsley)
Album: Blue Roller (Parvenu ’03)
Available: Yes -- www.parvenurecords.com
Personnel: Tom Townsley (harp), T.A. James (fretless bass/solo & rhythm guitars/”Deep VI” guitar), Mark Tiffault (drums)
Comments: This track was a blast to put together. For the solo, I envisioned Wes Montgomery and Duane Eddy reading the same line and facing each other down.

6) Yaweh (with Mark Tiffault)
Album: Zinc’s Palace (Parvenu ’04)
Available: Yes -- zincmeister@yahoo.com
Personnel: Mark Tiffault (lead and harmony vocals, drums, percussion), John Kane (soprano saxophone), Mark Nanni (accordion), T.A. James (nylon acoustic guitars/fretless bass)
Comments: This whole album was a joy to do. More can be found at www.myspace.com/zincspalace04. Better yet, contact Mark at the above email address and get yourself a piece of this delightful madness.
